Both the railroad and a city street cross the Elk River. The railroad bridge in the front was damage during moving and will be replaced.

The Diamond was a once thriving department store in Charleston. The cement mixers and dump truck represent vehicles used by Pfaff & Smith. Those vehicles were once painted yellow. The school bus is lettered for Kanawha County Public Schools.

The orange and cream city bus is a Classic Metal Works GMC TDH 3610 city bus. It's been stripped and repainted for Kanawha Regional Transit as it would have looked in 1976.
